The finals are a very special event, with talented young dancers joining us from over 35 countries & all sharing and connecting through DANCE!
Our 2025 finals will be held over 5 days of competition, masterclasses and learning experiences.
Our Finals is an event for all dancers where we pride ourselves on creating a supportive & positive environment.
GDO will be welcoming a judging panel of 25 artistic directors from some
of the most prestigious institutions across the globe who will all be scouting for new talent!
Our finals works in two halves: Our Classical/Contemporary & our
Performer Styles- 13 Artistic Directors will fly in for both halves- all specialists of their styles
In 2024, over 600,000€ of scholarships were awarded during 2 gala-evenings, which is once again expected to rise in 2025.

GETTING TO BIRMINGHAM
By Plane: Birmingham International Airport: 30 airlines and offers over 130 direct routes
By train: Birmingham New Street Train Station: 113 miles from London (1 hour 54 minutes) The ICC is a short 15 minute walk from the station
By car: Although the ICC doesn’t have any car park spaces of its own, you’ll find secure multi-storey parking located within the Arena Birmingham. From there it’s just just a short walk to the ICC.
FOOD & DRINK
Within the venue: Londis (small convenience shop), Starbucks, Subway, Pizza Express
A short walk: Located next door to the centre, head to Brindleyplace for a whole host of restaurants & cafés including Wagamama, Zizzi, Slug & Lettuce, Steak house, Perios, Piccolino & more..
WORKSHOPS
There will be over 60 workshops in all styles throughout the competition. Our workshops are an integral partWe believe that masterclasses are an important part of dancer’s developmentand are highly encouraged.

JUDGES
GDO will be welcoming a judging panel of 25 artistic directors from some of the most prestigious institutions across the globe who will all be scouting for new talent!
